    Summer enrollment for graduate students at ÎÞÂë±ä̬ increased more than 14 percent over last year, of which 6 percent are newly admitted and 24 percent are returning graduate students, according to data from the Graduate College. This increase represents the third consecutive year that enrollment in ÎÞÂë±ä̬’s graduate programs have grown. Over the past three years, including fall, spring and summer semesters, the University has experienced an average increase of 9 percent in graduate enrollment.

    More than 3,500 spring graduates earn degrees from Kennesaw State

    Their official ceremony may be postponed, but more than 3,500 ÎÞÂë±ä̬ students are graduating this week. The May 2020 class of 3,512 graduate candidates – 2,893 undergraduate and 619 graduate students – marks an increase from last spring’s 3,400 graduates. The students are earning their degrees and receiving their diplomas after ÎÞÂë±ä̬ transitioned to fully remote learning midway through the semester because of the coronavirus outbreak, which also caused the May Commencement ceremonies to be postponed.

Salerno Memorial Research Symposium, a symposium highlighting a cross-section of faculty research at the University. Altug Poyraz, assistant professor of chemistry, earned the John C. Salerno Prize for Research Achievement, and Martin Hudson, associate professor of biology, received the People’s Choice Award for Best Presentation.
