Electric Vehicle Team named design champion at race competition

Kennesaw State鈥檚 student competition team, a part of the Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology, competed against electric go-karts from colleges and universities across North America in the all-electric series at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Kennesaw State alum earns prestigious fellowship from National Science Foundation

A Kennesaw State alumnus has been named a recipient of the National Science Foundation鈥檚 prestigious Graduate Research Fellowship Program for 2017. Valerie Washington, who graduated with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in systems and industrial engineering from the University鈥檚 Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology in May, was one of 2,000 fellowship awardees honored this year.
