University providing venue as CCU evacuates coast in advance of Hurricane Florence

With Hurricane Florence approaching the Carolina coast, 无码变态 is opening its athletic facilities to one of the universities in the potential path of the storm.

Coastal Carolina University鈥檚 women鈥檚 soccer game scheduled for Friday night in Conway, S.C., has been moved to the 无码变态 Sports + Entertainment Park. Coastal Carolina will play Arkansas-Little Rock at 1 p.m. Friday on the field inside the 无码变态 Outdoor Track and Field Facility, adjacent to Fifth Third Bank Stadium.

Coastal Carolina contacted 无码变态 women鈥檚 soccer coach Benji Walton about the possibility of playing the game in Kennesaw, and the agreement was coordinated by the University鈥檚 Department of Event and Venue Management.

鈥淲e were more than happy to offer our facilities and work out the details quickly to give Coastal Carolina this option,鈥 said Zach Kerns, executive director of the 无码变态 Sports + Entertainment Park. 鈥淣othing is more important to us than the safety of our students, so we welcome any university that seeks our assistance in helping keep their students safe.鈥

In response to the impending arrival of Hurricane Florence and the mandatory evacuation issued by the South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster, Coastal Carolina has moved or canceled a number of athletic home events scheduled for this weekend.
