2024 Art Educators Biennial: Playful Encounters

The Zuckerman Museum of Art鈥檚 2024 Art Educators Biennial, Playful Encounters, considers how art can be about play and the myriad ways artist-educators engage artmaking for enjoyment and recreation. Play carries the imagination to unexpected destinations and supports unbridled generative work.

  • is the former Program Supervisor at the Lyndon House Arts Center, a civic arts campus dedicated to incorporating visual art and arts education with the mission of enriching the community of Athens GA, and beyond. Dunphy is a former Visiting Scholar and Professor in contemporary and digital media arts at the Lamar Dodd School of Art, UGA, who works as an independent curator in partnership with regional art museums. Her current program, "Highlighting Contemporary Art in Georgia: Picture This" is traveling throughout the state.
